I just wondered if anyone has been told that they have low NK Cells. I have had the results of my 2nd biopsy and my NK Cells have come back low as they did with my first biopsy. I'm very disappointed because I know it's harder to treat low NK Cells. I have tried to research it but found nothing on the net. Has anyone been here? What's the treatment for this condition? Should I consider using a surrogate? Any info/advice would be welcomed. Thanks amazing people. X

Hey!
I too was diagnosed with extremely low NK cells. Was told before my biopsy it could happen and was rare. Where did you go for your test? We went to Warwick and in my follow up with Prof Brosens he said low is nothing to worry about and from my history it was all a matter of timing. What he did recommend though was not to have any future endometrial scratches as part of my treatment. Main thing is low is better than high. Hope this helps.
Hiya
Yes I also went to the same doctor and hospital. Feeling slightly surprised and disappointed because I thought my NK Cells would be high. Now that they are low I have to wait for my consultation with Dr B on Thursday. I just feel that if it’s not a problem that they are low then what’s the point of having a low, high and normal range? I keep telling myself that it’s better to be armed with more information but I am feeling a little down now. This who thing is such a rollercoaster and I for one am feeling sick.
Totally get it. I remember when went through all the NK cell stuff thinking ‘this would be the answer we’d been looking for’. I just ended up with more questions than anything.
He did reassure us though that given our history we’d just had horrific luck and to stick with it. I’m sure you will but just go armed with your questions.
I know afterwards the unit where I’m being treated were really interested in the results and took a slightly different approach to my next FET.
It’s just a completely rubbish process all round with very few people who really understand.
