If there is 1 thing I've learnt from the lovely ladies on this forum, it's that nothing ever goes according to plan with ivf. AF should be here by now, I started down regging for FET on 16th Dec, I thought at very latest it would be here yesterday.So I had the joy of going to my clinic this morning for blood tests as they expected it by 26th. Then they asked me to do a pregnancy test, but as I'd went to the toilet before I left I couldn't go 🙈🙈so they did another blood test and sent me home with a test. I told them it'll prob come today. But here I am waiting to need a pee for a test to prove that I still am not pregnant. Me and OH had a good laugh on way home about how many times u have to prove you're not pregnant on this journey 🙈Anyway sorry there is no actual point to this message other than I needed to rant. Stupid AF 🙁 Thanks for reading xox

AF is never here when you need it... I was in the same situation in November. I was due to start my cycle then vut af showed up 3 days late and i couldn't fit for a xmas cycle and here i am waiting for January.

It's so annoying isn't it,mine has been right since first ivf cycle.The pregnancy test was a definite negative,just hoping it comes today otherwise I think they are gonna give me something else to take to bring it on. They still seem pretty positive about the cycle continuing at mo, so I guess that's something ☺all the best for ur cycle xo
Its unwritten rule to happen hahah. Mine is the same. I had my hsg booked for July and af didn't come at all and had book it for August always the same haha.
Hope af shows up today and you get to finish the cycle and to end with a bfp. Yoi have all my fingers crossed for you 😍xxx
They did say if my hormones are ok I may skip this period and able to carry on with meds,but that seems weird to me,but if estrogen is too high then they have to bring af on apparently, so I guess I just have to wait and see what the bloods show. Hope ur AF shows up on time for u starting in January,good luck ☺xo
My periods were fairly regular until I started IVF and then they became all over the place and coming too early or too late! You Just learn to accept that nothing in this journey is easy! Good luck on your next steps xx
Oh I know it's such a nightmare! I've had torturous times waiting for AF to be able to start a cycle. I've given up any real sort of planning, or trying to hold 3 or 4 possible versions of events in my head depending on when AF arrives. My clinic never offers anything to bring it on, though I've read about others who have received things.

Ready to start IVF and my period showed up 4 days early, which it never does usually, while we were away for the weekend. Had to race back the next day to start the injections - all the stuff was at home. Pretty stressful start, not least as we had to come with BS excuses to the family for leaving early as we were keeping treatment a secret!!

Thank u ☺I spoke to clinic earlier and have to keep down regging until it comes and then let them know so I can start the next stage,they are giving it till the 4th Jan, so hopefully it'll be here by then 😕 all the best for the rest of ur pregnancy xo
