want to get already fertilised donated eggs from Australia

hello there. A brief story,me and my girlfriend have been trying for a baby for the past 3 years and in that time we have had two early miscarriages (the latest one was last week). So now we are looking at options.

Most questions are easy to find out with a web search or telephone call but not this one.

My older brother and his wife had IVF 3 years ago (and now have a beautiful boy !!) They are now sitting on about 6 fertilised eggs,only problem is these fertilised eggs are in Australia. Ive been digging around on the net and found companies that can import/export donor eggs,but the only IVF prices I can find include the use of a strangers donor eggs,we obviously want to use my brothers.

So what Im asking is,and yes I know its a long shot, has anyone had experience with getting fertilised eggs from abroad??roughly how much? what clinics offer this service?(we live in essex just outside London) And any basic tips or websites we can look at for more info??

Hey, I hope you're well. I am visiting a clinic abroad for my process. They do offer the option of IVF with DE. In this, they provide you with a database of 100 plus donors. In this, they have a detailed description of each donor. I found that pretty cool. I am excited to start my own process as well. Good luck to you.

With the cost of transferring them overseas and then the worry that they will make it ok. Would it not be cheaper to fly to Australia and have the transfer there?

Agreed with Mantaray75, perhaps when you are out there at the clinic you could then ask them about transferring any remaining back.

It's not a problem to travel so far after transfer. Mantaray75 had treatment in Europe then travelled back to New Zealand and it was all successful x

I would try to fly to the country and do it from there if you can...just given you more chance been in the same country of the eggs.
