Hi, I really need some help.

I'm currently 7dp5dt with zero symptoms & I'm starting to seriously lose my mind.

With 2 no. previous bfp's (both ended with pretty horrific mc's) I had a strong metallic taste in my mouth approx 5 - 6 days in, loose bowels & pee'd frequently & during the night. I'm now constipated, hardly pee-ing & no metal taste.

I had a bfn earlier this year after 2ww w no symptoms but a subsequent biospy found a serious infection which has since been cleared up & which would have prevented implantation.

3 days ago, 4dp5dt, I had a serious melt down & was very depressed for the day.

Has anybody here had experience of getting bfp's on different cycles with very diff symptoms?...for eg having a metal taste with one and not the other?

Any reassurance at all would be a great help, everything I've googled tells me otherwise and/ or makes me feel worse.

I'm not going to test early as it was a fet & I've always been a late implanter.

8 yrs ttc w ivf & these were our very last 2 embryos, game over after this & tbh I am absolutely terrified.

We are too old for adoption & never thought we'd end up childless.

Thanks so much in advance & I hope everyone is having a decent Christmas day no matter what your circumstances are,

Merry Christmas 🎄

I had totally different or even no symptoms during my recent tww and I’ve felt pregnant. I’ve thought I knew what positive cycles are looking for me so I was expecting certain symptoms to come around key days but they haven’t appeared. I event once felt that I’m not going to be pregnant but it appeared I was, currently 6wks along.

Good luck hun, my fingers are crossed for you. You might not be out yet so try to stay cal😘

thank you so much for replying, any words of encouragement really do help. I wish you the very best with your pregnancy, XM.

I had implantation spotting and weird sudden groin pain around the same time on one cycle but I miscarried at 7 weeks. This time I had no symptoms at all and I’m now nearly 26 weeks.

Good luck. X

Hi, thank you so much for replying, it really does means a lot. Best of luck with the rest of your pregnancy, XM.

I’ve had three and the only thing that was exactly the same was af type cramping. The cramping didn’t start on the same days either xx

I hope it's a positive for you hon xxx

thank you so much, X.

I never had a BFP , so I cannot say anything on this. However, I totally feel with you, and I am currently around the same stage - 2ww and my period should arrive by friday. Equally I have absolutely no symptoms, but actually I am very happy about this! In my last 8 2ww I havr had every symptom you can imagine - frequent urination even during the night included and it was always negative. Pregnancy symptoms do not exist. It can all mean everything or nothing.

I know it is very very hard, but there is absolutely nothing you can do besides trying to distract yourself and wait.

It can definitely still be a BFP, it is not the end yet!

I cross everything for you :-)

Thanks a million for replying, I really mean it. And I wish you a bfp at the end of your 2ww.

I'm feeling calmer this morning having resigned myself to getting a bfn this coming weekend but like always, a part of me is forever hopeful, XM.

Hey Molly, I’m sorry I can’t offer any advice about BFP but I wanted to wish you the best of luck for OTD xx

thanks so much for replying, I really appreciate it and I hope you get your long deserved bfp on your next round, XM.

Hi Molly2016,

Like you a few weeks ago I had hardly any symptoms. I thought the game was over. But now I am 7 weeks pregnant. My clinic said the 2 waiting weeks are really early days and it is normal to not feel anything. Some of my friends had hardly any symptoms and had an healthy pregnancy. I guess we are all different. Some days you might feel something and some other you might not. Like you m, I have the metallic taste in my mouth. However, it never left me. A few years ago, I felt pregnant and my symptoms were worse than this time. But I miscarriage and I don’t think I had this metallic taste in my mouth. But I felt sick all the time (which is not the case now). So I think we should not rely on the symptoms (I know how hard and frustrating it is as we want something to reassure us). As my husband says, you are pregnant until proven wrong. I hope it’s going to work for you 🤞I wish you all the best with your pregnancy. please be in touch if you need. You are not alone. Take care xxx💖

thank you so much for taking the time to reply and the very best of luck with your pregnancy.

You and your clinic are right re symptoms in the first 2 weeks.

I think because with my last 2 bfp's I had a strong metal taste thats its a definite sign for me that I'm pregnant, however they both ended in mc's and I'm on different meds & vitamins this time round so that could all contribute...I wont know till I test and until then my head is all over the place.

thanks again so much, X.

You are welcome. I hope everything will go well for you 🤞🤞🤞good luck. Take Care xx

Having no symptoms can still be a BFP. Try not to lose hope as the 2ww is absolute torture. My advice is to keep off Goggle (It's the devil's tool and rarely helps) and just keep taking each day as it comes. You will get there and fingers crossed for that BFP 🤞 xx

thank you so much for replying and of course you are of so right re google.

I've just read your posts and I really do hope everything is perfect with your scan tomorrow. You have had a hellish couple of days and must be exhausted, X
