We got a BFN from our FET when we tested last week. Felt really disappointed because I couldn't really see why it wouldn't work. Thinking about moving forward we have no more frozen embryos but are entitled to another cycle on the NHS in 6 to 9 months time. We have asked for a review appointment which they have given to us for the end of March. (I thought this was quite late?) Does anyone have any experience of the nhs doing any additional investigations? I'm not quite sure what I mean by investigations but I just feel like there must be a reason our embryo hasn't stayed twice now and I would rather do everything to fix things so it will stay next time?

Really sorry to hear your cycle was unsuccessful, it’s so frustrating having no answer. March does seem quite late for a follow up appt but I guess every clinic is different. You could ask about your NK cells being tested to see if this is affecting implantation. I had a mmc and 2 unsuccessful cycles before asking for mine although my consultant didn’t agree with the test he did put me on steroids xx
Hi Wils89,I'm afraid I can't offer you any advice but just wanted to say I'm really sorry that you got a BFN and I hope you can find some answers. I had a MMC last cycle so this time I've been prescribed baby aspirin and steroids xx
Bfns are really hard. They’re made even harder when no reason is offered as to why it’s not happening. Although March is a long way off it will probably end up being closer to your next cycle so it should stay fresher.. In the meantime if you message Diane she will email you a list of questions to ask at follow up xx
