Thank you all for your support on my first post regarding taking the wrong Gonasi dosage.
They managed to retrieve 3 eggs, 2 fertilised and today, day 5, I had one 4AB embryo transferred, one frozen.
The nurse told me to pretty much rest up and not stress now for the next 2 weeks, and get on with life but how on earth do you not think about this? Any signs I need to look out for that it might not have been successful? Or shall I just try and stop thinking about the outcome?
Thank you xx

Hooray for a good quality blasto! Having done 6 transfers I know what I am going to say is absolutely impossible but I would do all you can to keep yourself busy and not symptom spot. The next 2 weeks are an absolute rollercoaster. You will be CONVINCED its not worked, then for a few days think it definitely has worked, then crash down and don't think it has again.. etc etc. There is nothing that is a definitive sign its worked or not worked... most symptoms are likely the drugs anyway. The best thing you can do is gentle walking, keep calm, keep busy, think positive and focus on giving your embryo the best chance! Oh and DO NOT TEST EARLY!! Heaps of luck x
You could listen to mindful IVF to make you feel calm and hopeful?
You could also plan things that will make you feel happy and provide some welcome distraction 🌞. Go on long walks, meet friends, do crafts, plan a holiday to look forward to whatever happens. Do whatever will make you feel content.
I second what Daisy said above. Try to not think about whether it's going to be successful or not as it will make you feel bad. If you can find it in yourself, hope and believe it will work.
On our 4rth transfer I worked on being more hopeful; it was difficult but it really helped me.
I also found it helpful to plan on doing something nice on transfer day and test day. We went on a day trip and had a walk on transfer day, and went to the theatre with friends on test day.
It felt bold but right. After 3 failed transfers, I was determined that, comes rain or sunshine, I was going to remember these days for something else than a transfer or a test! I was so over lying in bed 😂
Luckily that last one worked.
I'm sending you lots of happy, positive thoughts 🤞
