I have a day 9 scan tomorrow. Do you need to have empty bladder or drink water beforehand.

The only time I needed a full bladder was for transfer,so empty should be fine, good luck for your scan xo

My scanning place wants full bladder to scan externally first, if it is the first time that person scans me. Then they ask to empty the bladder for the intravaginal scan. I would just ask them. But if you need to empty it they will just tell you... good luck xx

My clinic usually only want a full bladder for transfer. You could ring to check or go with a full bladder and you can always wee beforehand if they want an empty bladder for sure.....quicker to empty than fill! Good luck.xx
