Embryo transplant and days ahead

Hello guys im just posting on behalf of my wife. We had embryo transplant on 30th October and my wife 2dp5dt (still trying to learn the short terms) !! She is just worried she hasnt had any syptoms as of yet. I advised her its only day 2 and that the embryo is still hatching into her uterus and will slowly get the symptoms. She then started to cry very much. Now I have read that being emotional is one of the symptoms.

I think she feels she is not going to be pregnant and will let our family down etc.. ive asked her to remain positive and hope for the best when we do pregnancy test on 9th November. Has anybody felt like this and managed to get a BFP?

Hope you can reply and reassure us that eveyrhting will be okay.

So nice of you to post on behalf of your wife.

I didn't get a bfp on my first transfer so I can't speak from experience but lots of ladies have BFP with little or no symptoms and 2dp5dt is still early.

Emotions are to be expected it's all of the hormones and expectations I suppose.

Wishing you both lots of luck. Xx

She is wasaaay to early to be worrying about symptoms and tell her to remember some ladies get no symptoms. I found googling timeline for 5dt. It will give you both a good idea of what’s happening. Relax and good luck xx

Great husband👏🏾👏🏾 All you guys can do is keep supporting each other and just huddle. Find things to do together or with friends whilst waiting for the results. Maybe watch movies, nice long baths, your favourite meal etc. I wish you all the best

Unfortunately the progesterone mimics pregnancy symptoms and also early pregnancy symptoms mimic pmt. you really can’t judge! I would really recommend holding off testing until your test date. And be aware that, for some of us, progesterone makes us really really emotional so even though she isn’t doing injections anymore, remember that her hormones will be all over the place. Good luck x

Being emotional is a side effect of the hormones and even without the added hormones it’s an emotional time. In some ways the tww is the hardest part. 2dp 5dt is waayyy too early for any symptoms. I hope you’re able to reassure her on that xx

Sorry to hear your wife is so sad - I think you're describing how so many of us feel after the transfer. Try to encourage her to keep her mind on other things and to keep busy over the next two weeks. Focusing on it just leads to symptom spotting. Wishing you both the best!

Hey guys its the hubby again, the mrs did a sneaky HPT test today and it was a negative :( now she is currently 4dp5dt, when she told me I was kinda suprised as too why she did it so early. She advised me she was reading Dr Google and many women did and it and got BFP or a line! When she showed me I could see a very very faint line seeing it from far back its so hard to see, but when I zoomed my eyes into its barely noticeable but was there! Sounds crazy I know!!

I told her it could be because the HCg isnt that high enough to detect pregnancy, but she seems so convinced its going to be a negative. Any ways I can reassure her its going to be okay. Bless her she just cried her eyes out to the mother in law.

Official test date is 9th Nov its going to be a rollercoaster for sure! Any idea how I can reassure her everything will be okay? Im slighlty feeling nervous about it aswell in all honesty :(
