Typical!!

So we are at the stage of waiting for day one of AF so I can inform the clinic. We then have 21 days to wait to commence my IVF medication.

No AF as expected on the 16th so today is day 34 of my cycle

So no I am getting worried as my cycle has changed and wondering will it have any negative outcome for our only chance of IVF.

I’m disappointed that AF hasn’t arrived on time as we have been waiting for weeks to make this phone call! Frustrated to say the least!

I had period pains for two day prior to the 16th and now nothing.

No I haven’t. My partner has Klinefelter syndrome which is a genetic problems meaning he doesn’t produce sperm.

I would be massively shocked if i was pregnant.

Probably stress of waiting for AF to arrive. Hoping to have a relaxed weekend and it arrives or the clinic say I will have to have a scan to see what’s happening and they could force the cycle! Xx

I had the same problem waiting for af feels like ages x but I think it was because I was stressing x

I think that’s what’s happening to me. I’ve waited so long for this day to be able ring and start our IVF journey that I’ve stressed away AF

I just hope we don’t have to wait another month x

Before I did my first round, about 2 or 3 months Before, I completely skipped a period and I'm pretty sure it was due to stress.

How frustrating for you. Like some of the others have suggested it might be the stress of upcoming IVF that has extended your cycle a bit. Hoping your period shows up soon so you can get going xx

I sent an email today (I am having my treatment abroad), and going to start the BCP tonight (I will be on a short protocol). We may be "cycling" together! I will be thinking of you!

Wow exciting!!

We are on the long protocol.

I now have to wait for day 21 of my cycle then I start the medication.

Roll on 3 weeks now 😀

How annoying. I think sometimes it’s the stress of wanting it to arrive that makes your period late.

I’m sure I read somewhere that having sex can bring on your period so you could try that. Hope it arrives soon x
