Bleeding

Hi all,

Had a failed second cycle confirmed 2 weeks ago, stopped progesterone and started period (normal and normal length) the following day. The last few days I’ve noticed I’ve been bleeding - it’s black and quite “lumpy” (sorry for the graphic info). It’s not enough to need tampon/liner but it’s just there. Any ideas what it might be?

Hi Olivia. Not at all sure. Sounds like some kind of breakthrough bleed. Perhaps give your clinic a call and ask to speak to a nurse who will be able to explain why xx

Hi Olivia80. It could be some residue from the pessaries. Have a bath if possible and see whether it sorts itself out. If it continues after that, and/or becomes smelly, then best to see your GP and get checked out. Hope it soon clears up. Diane
