Anyone had a negative develop to positive?

Was test day today (9dp5dt), a big fat negative (as usual!)

The clinic says to try again on Friday, was just wondering if anyone has had a negative test turn to positive?

9 days seems very early for an otd. I wonder why some clinics seem to have such different practices? Mine is always 11 days. I’ve seen some ladies test at 14 days. Maybe you’re still in with a shot xx

Some clinics test a lot later and others do bloods. Hpt are not as precise as blood tests.

Whilst out clinic does a 10 day test, it is a blood test therefore much more accurate and able to read smaller numbers.

This could be the reason.

Friday would mean that hcg would double therefore hpt more likely to give you a positive than today.

Don’t worry it happened to me as well. I tested 13dpo negative but blood test came positive

Sorry to hear you've had a negative test! Its quite early to go by the day 9 result for a urine test. My clinc usually say test on day 12 and repeat on 14 to be sure if negative! I dont want to get your hopes up but know of people who have been negative on day 9 and positive on day 13!xx

My DH spoke to the clinic and they said it’s quite early (Jesus, they told me today was test day), asked if I’ve bled and whilst not wanting to give false hope, said to test again on Friday 🙄

Annoying thing is, I’ve been feeling sick for 2 days and am definitely more tired 🤯

It is definitely early. Clinics are annoying at times!
