Does anyone out there know the success rate for a pregnancy continuing after you have had a positive pregnancy test after IVF?
I have my viability scan on the 27th, and apart from a few stitch like pains and tender breasts (which I had before trasfer due to pessaries) I have no other symptoms
I’m just trying to prepare myself for the worse....😬
I found this with a quick google but it doesn’t refer to ivf pregnancies just miscarriage rates by percentages in general medicalnewstoday.com/articl...
I know we often see losses on here and that it’s hard to believe, but the chances of miscarriages are still relatively low in the general scheme of things. Try not to worry. I know it’s hard. Just try to enjoy being pregnant unless proven otherwise xx
I think someone once put this website link up but I don’t know where it gets its statistics from. Once you see a heartbeat at the viability scan, the stats are pretty good.
The first 12 weeks are always hard to get through- apart from taking your vitamins, not smoking and looking after yourself there is nothing you can do to change the outcome. Try to enjoy this time as you don’t want to look back and think that it passed you by because you were worrying. That’s how I dealt with it. Good luck xxx
Waiting for the viability scan is so hard and I’d convinced myself that there would be no heartbeat and tried to prepare myself. We’re now 21 weeks pregnant and I wish I’d relaxed more and enjoyed being pregnant from the beginning. Try not to look at stats, it doesn’t help. Just relax and look after your little bean. I had absolutely no pregnancy symptoms at the beginning either. Fingers crossed for a happy healthy pregnancy for you xxx
Try and and stay positive and treat it like a normal pregnancy now as any negative energy or stress is no good for you! I know it’s akways at the back of your mind naturally but try to focus on the positive! I’m currently 11 weeks 6 days so I know how you feel right now! Sending you lots of love x
