Hi everyone I am new here ,have had 2 chemicals last year.Gearing up for next round. What tests are needed to investigate chemical pregnancies. Also I m not having pcos but my best friend recommended Inofolic to take.Anyone have any experience with Inofolic..any suggestions on improving egg quality i.e any specific supplements .What are your thoughts on fresh versus frozen transfer.I need to make a decision but I m very confused as my fresh and fet both resulted in chemical pregnancy. So not sure what is the best bet.Thank you in advance xx

Hi Blueberry. Unfortunately, you usually have had to suffer 3 miscarriages of any sort before being investigated for clotting problems etc. You might like to mention to your specialist whether taking low dose soluble aspirin might be of some benefit to ensure good blood flow to your womb lining. Folic Acid 400 mcg is usually recommended to take daily, unless you don't absorb it properly, the perhaps a folate would be prescribed instead. Vitamin D 10 mgs daily too. Acupuncture is considered good to encourage blood flow to the ovaries and womb lining. Obviously I wish you well with whatever you decide with regards to fresh or frozen - and for success. Diane

Sorry you’ve have a rough journey. Have you requested a referral to a miscarriage specialist? No harm in asking. I read an article recently that recent studies show frozen transfer slightly more successful as the body has more time to heal. I’m sure Mr Google can point you in the right direction. All the best.
