So I went in for my egg collection yesterday morning. I was very nervous but it all went smoothly and they managed to get 6 eggs. I was a little defeated that it wasnโt 8 to 10 but the nurse was pleased.
I got home and my lovely husband looked after me brilliantly. The pain wasnโt too bad, paracetamol did the trick. I also managed to sleep for most of the afternoon.
I didnโt manage to sleep too well last night as the dread of the phone call was weighing heavy on my mind. I got up this morning and did my first pessary (not as bad as I thought it was going to be) then went downstairs to make a cuppa. I thought I would have a bit of a wait for the call but my phone rang at 9.15....it was great news! All 6 eggs have fertilised!!! ๐๐๐ I am over the moon. Will get a phone call on Saturday morning with our day 3 update.
I hope youโre all having a happy and positive week โบ๏ธ Xx

I was too tired and out of it to post anything yesterday ๐ I was so happy when the call came through saying that all 6 had fertilised! I just hope itโs more good news when they call on Saturday.
Will keep everything crossed for you!! ๐ค๐ป๐ค๐ป Have you had today off work as well?
Scan went went, thin lining and small ovaries so Iโve started on the menopur tonight, a week earlier than planned so Iโm happy with that!! ๐๐ got another scan next Friday xx
Yeah Iโve had today off and Iโm not going in tomorrow either. Still taking paracetamol every 4 hours and Iโm shattered so just taking it easy. I work in a nursery so donโt fancy a 10 hour day with a bunch of 3 and 4 year olds ๐
Thatโs good that theyโve started you a week early. I bet youโre happy to be a week ahead of schedule ๐ xx
I donโt blame you having a few days off, Iโm a teacher so I know what itโs like trying to entertain a class of children. Luckily my class are lovely this year and not making me stressed (yet!) ๐hope the pain eases soon xx
