Update......5 out of the 6 eggs have fertilised and are all doing well....🎉🎉
In and out in a few hours!! All went well and we got 6 eggs!! They wanted more this time and we’ve got two more!! We were a little disappointed but they were really pleased.....so we’ll take that!!

Well, that's a good news definitely... congratulations for getting it this far! Well, 6 eggs don't seem much bad if you ask me. I know the numbers matters, but the end of the day it's the luck I believe. Because while you might ponder on if the 6 eggs will be enough for getting you a baby....you might just make it out full-term pregnancy with using just one good embryo only. And that takes just one egg. I hope that really happens... finger crossed! Is this your first round or following ones? Did the egg collection hurt?

This is my second cycle, and egg collection honestly is nothing to worry about!! I didn’t feel a think as I was sedated!! In a little bit of pain now and slight cramping but paracetamol seems to do the job xxx

I had my first egg collection on Thurs. 3 eggs and 1 that looked immature. The embryologist phoned early this morning as he was too excited to wait and tell me. All 3 fertilised. So I am on the excitement roller coaster with you. As many people say: it only takes one! Congrats and good vibes coming your way.

Yes they changed and upped my medication this time! I was on bemfola and cetrotide! Last time I was on menopur and cetrotide!!
I was supposed to be on it a day longer too (11days) but as I responded well they brought egg collection forward by 3 days!! They said if they left me they’d loose the good size follicles! Xx
Wow that’s great so hopefully if they change my medication that will help. I was only on menopur last time and sniffed supercur beforehand.
I have my follow-up on the 11th so we’ll see what they say.

They said I had 10 at a decent size, so I’m guessing not all follicles have eggs in xx
