Hi all! After a long time trying, failed cycles etc etc i am finally pregnant! I am 6 weeks and totally petrified! I have a scan next week but i just dont believe the result. We have done multiple tests, no period, but we are just in shock and now acting like crazy paranoid people! Im so scared il miscarry i dont want to do anything. Please say this feeling is normal and will pass?! I just cant let the happiness take over as im full of fear that it wont work out. Any relaxation techniques?

Thanx!

I’ve been feeling exactly like this to after 2 previous mmc Im terrified the worst is going to happen again. I think it’s understandable to be anxious after all we go through to get a positive test, hopefully your scan will help reassure you a little x

Congratulations! I went for an 8 mile run between getting my BFP and the scan (running is the thing that keeps me sane and relaxed and up until transfer day I was running every day). Keeping active is really good for blood flow etc, so try to get out walking every day if you can.

We’ve decided to let ourselves be happy about our BFP because otherwise we may never get to experience this. If it all goes wrong it will be heartbreaking regardless of whether we’ve tried to ‘protect’ ourselves, so we’re trying to enjoy it!

The gym really helps me with day to day stress but ive been too worried to go, i know thats silly as everyone says its good for you and baby. Daily walks is a good idea though! Thank you. Im going to implement that asap! Fresh air and a gentle walk may just help.

Thats so true! I hadn't thought of it like that, i may never experience this again.

Thanx you, your response has defo helped. Good luck to you x
