Any more hope ??

Hi lovely lot- so had my early preg scan today - I would be 6 weeks. The preg sac was empty and I have to go back in two weeks time for another scan.

Any hope left for us?

So sorry it's not Good news, but there's hope. If you read the story of Mantaray75 , you might get some hope from her.

Was your blood taken to check for hcg levels?

I wish you the best and pray that you get a miracle in Jesus Christ's name.

Thank you - her story does give me some hope.

No the doctor made the decision to not recheck my hgc level - just to return in two weeks and expect blood I don't want this to be the end !

Oooh babez am so very sorry ur goin through this...ive gone through this twice with my last 2 and if there tellin u expect blood and the sacs empty am so sorry babez its not gud...u need 2 prepare urself....but am prayin for u as no now hard it is 2 go through this PM me if u need a friend who knows wht ur goin through xxxxx

For sure there is. Maybe if your scan had even been in another 3-4 days you may have seen something but it’s still early so don’t give up hope yet xx

Thank you - I'm trying to have some hope but the clinic seemed adamant that it's not going to turn into anything more than the empty sac. I am only 6weeks today-said positive side is that implantation was successful. Back to another 2week wait - unless I bleed then I know for certain it's over.

With Mantaray’s case they’d all but booked her in for surgery/medical treatment but just look what’s happened there! I had my first scans both times at around 6 and a half weeks. We did see heartbeats with both but even at that stage we were warned prior that it may still be too early to see anything and that we’d be asked to come back after a week, if that had been the case. I’m not trying to get your hopes up but realistically there is still a chance xx

Yea Mantarays story has given me some hope. I have already told DH that of I'm in the same situation in 2 weeks I am absolutely not taking anything to start the MC Just incase.

Well I am exactly 6 weeks today- so like you say -perhaps it's to early.

Aaw sorry to hear this hun, really hope it’s a case of being too early. 6 weeks is really early isn’t it.

Another 2ww wait for you but try and stay positive and calm and relax as much as poss. I’m still waiting for my early scan, 9 days to go until a week on Monday. I could be in the same boat, no one really knows do they until they see it on the screen. I’ll be 7wks +2 days.

6 weeks is so early - most clinics don't seem to test until 7 or 8 weeks ! So guess I'm still PUPO!

This journey really is a rollercoaster, up one min down the next. Try and sit tight and not worry too much. Just get through these next couple of weeks. It’s a long time to wait but on the plus side a long time for things to grow and improve.

I really hope it works out for you. I thought I was 6+3 when I had the scan but they dated me a bit behind even though my transfer date is obviously known. The ultrasound woman was very experienced and was totally convinced that was it. It was based on my hcg results that I knew I couldn’t have surgery unless I was 100% postitive. Just a week later and we got the heartbeat and I was totally gobsmacked.

They dated me a few days behind at the 2nd scan too but the scans are +\- 4 days. She said they work things out slightly differently. X
