Advice from those of you that have had transfers abroad

Just wanted to know what you did after transfer?

We’re doing another ET in Prague and then going to fly to Croatia for five days of relaxation.

I know they say not to go swimming in a pool but did any of you go swimming in the ocean? Or snorkel? Sun bathe? Etc.

Would love to know...usually when I’m on holiday I love to swim and snorkel.

Would love to hear any of your experiences that turned out to be a BFP also?

Thanks

Hi Skybid,

Wishing you luck you get your BFP🤞🏻.

I had my tET in Spain & they told me no baths, or swimming in the pool or sea & you have to keep your body temperature down so no sunbathing 😱. I sat under a brolly with my legs in the sun at ‘off peak’ hours or walked up & down the promenade......still came back with a tan! I’m now 15wks pregnant.

Sending you lots of baby dust X

Hi Michelle 1973, many congrats on your pregnancy that’s fantastic. Can I ask where in Spain your did your transfer? Was it Own eggs , DE ? I’m looking for somewhere in Europe to do DE and wanted some recommendations. So any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hello, I went on holiday after ET and I did lots of swimming, I was advised against competitive swimming and I wasn't going any of that. I didn't go in the sea because it was a bit cold but I was in and out of pools all the time. I burn so easily so tend to stay out of the sun anyway but I'm now 14 weeks pregnant. Good luck xx

I was in Barcelona and avoided the pool and sea. I wandered around the city and it was pretty hot. I flew back 2 days after transfer. I'm now 7 weeks.

Hi Skybid. As you say, no swimming pools, but sea is fine. Si in the shade during the very hot parts of the day. Enjoy your little holiday, and I hope all goes well for you. Diane
