Hello. I am a newbie here.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and during the course of treatment my amh dropped to less than one and my fsh is at 28. My cycle has stopped.

I want a baby.

Does anyone have any experience in conceiving naturally in a situation similar to mine?

Hi Asoosa2877. So sorry to hear that you have suffered with breast cancer, and hopefully your treatment is succeeding. I’m afraid that with an FSH so high. it would be very difficult to stimulate your ovaries artificially, or naturally, to produce follicles large enough to allow an egg to get into ready to be expelled. Coupled with an extremely low ovarian reserve. I feel at the moment, you are more important and you need the all clear before trying for a baby. Once in remission, get retested and see whether there is any improvement. If not, then you may have to use an egg donor to have a baby. Lots to think about, but I do wish you a speedy recovery so you can then hopefully look forward to having a family. Thinking of you. Diane

I am already out of treatment and I have been cleared as of February 2018.
