Infertility support groups

Does anyone know if there are any infertility/IVF support groups in the south of England? Somerset/Dorset/Hampshire areas? Thanks

I don’t know of any your way, but I’ve been to a few myself in the north west. My clinic does a patient led monthly support group meeting managed via Facebook, with a guest speaker each month then an hour to mingle. Can you ask your clinic? Or even start one! But I’ve also gone to a few IVF meet ups that I’ve learnt about through Instagram - there is a huge IVF community on instagram, where meet ups are advertised and I’ve also connected with individuals who have similar issues to me who I have become friends with. Thank you for your reply Orla, I will check out Instagram. Unfortunately there appears to be a lack of support groups in the south.

I don’t know if there are any ; I’m from same catchment area. I’m in North Dorset and attending Salisbury fertility clinic.

Hi Jess, the only one I have found is at complete fertility in Southampton. It is open to anyone and the next one is on 23rd August. I know it's not very local but there appears to be nothing else around!

I looked on fertility network website, but didn't find much. Might be worth having a look on there for something more local for you. The only one I've found is in Southampton.

I went as a one off to see what it was like but they had cancelled it and not told me.

There is one at complete fertility in Southampton and you don't need to be having treatment there to go. Have a look at their website for information.
