Timeline for long protocol confused

To say i am confused would be an understatement. I had to phone the clinic on the first day of my period. I did, and as i expected they said they had no places on this cycle but will book me in for a scan on the 25th Sept and to call again on my next period. What is the scan for, is it the start or the end of the process?

Called 23rd July - no spaces provisional scan booked for 25th Sept. My next period due 16th August then one after that would be 11th September. I just don't have a scooby about what is going on.

The first appointment is a scan to check your period has thinned your endometrium. Following that they will start you on all your stimm meds to take over your next cycle. So all your action will be in your october cycle.xx

I know but once october hits everything moves so fast.. try and enjoy a bit of freedom before thenxx

Im in the same boat as you hun, everything seems to take forever. I had to go in for bloods couple of weeks ago and got to wait until 13th aug to go back and sign documents. no idea when my meds will actually start. Also doing high dose long protocol, whatever that means xx

I just worked out that my clinic only do a certain number of transfers, at specific times of each month. Feel silly for not realising this before but now it makes more sense about the times between period and transfer xx
