During ivf I have been having acupuncture once a week and last week I got my bfp! I just wondered how long I should carry it on for? Will it do harm to carry on going? I’d rather not keep paying out for it if it’s there’s no point now but if it will still benefit me then I’ll carry on... what does everyone think?

I had three sessions in the first trimester which my fertility acupuncturist described as being for “holding”, but I then stopped as I didn’t feel it was necessary and I wanted to save my pennies for baby. She did say I might want to come back from 34 weeks as they can do work in preparation for labour and ripening your cervix.
There are some things online that say it can cause misscarriage ? There’s also a lot to say it doesn’t ... I have no idea what’s best I’m thinking maybe to wait untill after my 7 week scan x
I didn’t look online I just trusted my acupuncturist who assured me it wouldn’t cause miscarriage. To be honest my gut feeling is that it’s unnecessary.
Congratulations on your bfp! I am in the same boat. I go to my acupuncturist religiously every week as I think my success has a lot to do with her treatment. Last week she didn't give me any acupuncture, just a special massage to help increase blood to the womb.
