Urgh! Aren't they just. Even the lady who did our transfer asked me how I was getting on with them and pulled at face at me to show she thought they were awful xx

Gosh they are awful I heard ladies say they get like an applicator like a tampon to push cream up there but oh no I gotbyhese little squishy white ball a bit bigger than a pea to shove up there 3x a day!! So yuck. My OH is like here I can do it!...umm no. 😂

Haha! My OH hasn't really got involved with the medicine side of it but has been very supportive and helped ne deal with all the crazy emotions. I've been given the bullet shaped ones to do twice a day and I have to do a very bitey clexane injection too. They've been the worst one out of all the injections- they come with a bit of a sting!

Oh no you poor thing! I only had injections up to egg collection then I was finished was not even 2x weeks of stimms. Gonal f was real easy, but orgalutran gave me a bit of a sting! I've heard woman put like a coin in the freezer then put it on injection site just before you stab (disinfect area after coin!) To freeze it a bit, Maybe that will help xx

You might already know this but when I had my first IVF treatment I did not know wear a panty liner after doing the pessaries. I wore black leggings and had white patch! Learnt quickly not to do that. ..very embarrassing when you are out and about!

I do my pessaries at 6am, 2pm & 10pm. My transfer was at 2pm by the time I got home it was about 4pm and got a bfp. So it doesn't matter. I also forgot to do pessary one day and did it once I remembered a couple of hours was ok had my first scan on Friday 13th July and saw the heart beat.

Good luck with your treatment

Wow! Congratulations :) I was only a couple of hours late but I think this process makes you worry about everything. Already know about the pantyliners- i' m currently on 2 cyclogest a day. They're like horrible little waxy bullets! Hope your pregnancy goes well xx

Hi this process does make you worry and it's not easy journey.

I had my 1st cycle that failed. I had 2 embryos and they were frozen as I over stimulated. I had 1 embryo transferred at a time on both occasions it did not work.

I went again 2nd cycle and had 2 embryos, the clinic recommended to have both embroyos transferred due to my age and grading of the embryo. Again failed cycle.

Third time lucky! I had 1 embryo put in good quality and I got my BFP. I have 2 embryos in the freezer. Last week I was worried as I was bleeding heavily and thought I was miscarrying. I had my first scan on 13th July at 7 weeks & 5 days and saw the heart beat.

My husband and I are turning 40 next year and never thought this day will come. Reading information on here and writing my worries on here really helped me as everyone is so supportive.

Hang in there and hope everything goes well for you.

You've been on such a hard journey, I admire your strength and I'm so glad you have a positive result. I'm 29 and DH is 32. We've been trying for 3 years and nothing yet all our friends and my sisters in law have fallen pregnant so easily. I've been avoiding them all for about 18 months. I have drug induced lupus from acne tablets I was over prescribed as a teenager and arthritis caused by this. My blood will always be positive for antinuclear antibodies which means my immune system has the potential to attack itself and the doc said I have antiphospholipids that can cause miscarriage but as far as we know we've never been pregnant and have just been diagnosed as unexplained as the results from all of our tests were deemed good. This is our 1st and only nhs round so we will have to pay for any more treatment and i've been put on aspirin and clexane to try and help. This site has beeb a godsend as no one in our families have experienced infertility. I don't think anything can prepare you mentally for this so for what you've gone through you must be pretty tough. Hope you have a healthy pregnancy xx
