In a normal cycle I alway start brown spotting 9 day past ovulation. Will my pessaries stop this happening this ivf cycle? I don’t want to get my hopes up in four days time if I don’t start brown spotting xx

I don’t usually spot in a normal cycle but for all 3 (failed) cycles, I spotted from day 10 post egg collection which turned in to full AF by test day.
I always spot around then too. when when I took progesterone pessaries it always stopped it. Spotting is often a sign of low progesterone x
For me, the pessaries didn’t stop the spotting when I wasn’t pregnant. When I did get pregnant the spotting didn’t happen. For me, I don’t think the spotting was a problem if that makes sense. Good luck xxx
Spotting was my problem, red and brown from 5dpo, heavy spotting when red, lighter when brown. The pessaries stopped my spotting when not pregnant. I got some spotting at implantation when I did get pregnant, which is rare so please don't look for implantation spotting! If you get spotting on this IVF cycle, ask them to increase your dose for the next one. But I hope one cycle is all it takes for you x
I get spotting on some cycles (though not all). I’ve had 4 cycles and never had any spotting either on a positive or a negative cycle so I think the meds can hold it off. I suppose it partly depends on the reason for your spotting, e.g. if it’s caused by low progesterone then the meds should definitely hold it off. Good luck with your cycle.
