Embryo Glue Cost

I was wondering what sort of price other peoples clinics are charging for embryo glue? We were informed it would be approximately £150 but a few weeks later when confirming we wanted to try it we were then told the cost was £400.

This seems a suspicious ramp in price so just wanted to ask about to see what the consensus was?

I paid £150. £400 sounds a lot unless it’s super strength magic glue 😂

I paid £150 for the glue on my third cycle. It wasn’t offered on the previous 2 attempts. X

Hi raybey1. It does seem a high price to me. You could have a look at some other clinics at hfea.gov.uk and compare. Diane

We paid £279. Which I can’t believe is so much more then others on here but I would do it again. I think I would try anything that gave even the smallest of chance

Our clinic include it as standard so no extra cost but from what ive read £400 seems quite steep. Good luck x

Mine was £125. It's a brand name, all comes from the same manufacturer, so there's no reason for this huge discrepancy in price. Definitely query it, especially if you were told a different cost before! x

I’ve just been offered it at a cost of £150. £400 sounds like a lot. I would definitely question the clinic about the ramp up in price!! xx

My clinic charges £200 for embryo glue. We used it last time and will do again with out next cycle - I like to think we've tried everything... but £400 seems too much especially when they said £150 before. Are you having more than one embryo put back? (although i had 2 and it was still only £200...) x

Thank you all for your replies. We are having two put back in but they said it doesn't affect the price. We asked for a explanation/breakdown of the price and were told we couldn't have one as it is a financial business decision. Not sure we really have any other options from here
