Hello Ladies,

I thought i would update you all and also ask some questions as i am a little worried, i went today for my initial baseline scan (hopefully starting iui if all goes well) and at that time everything went well she said it all looks like how it should, it shows you recently ovulated and also she said your lining is measuring at 13mm what we expect as your on day 21 on your cycle..... At that point i didnt think but i dont think i am on day 21 i think I'm on day 25 so what does this mean now? My periods vary from 28 days to 33. But typically be around 31. I dont no whether i should say anything next week as i have appointment for my husband's semen analysis initial test wash results. Would anyone no what i should do or if i should be worrying? Xxx

Definitely don’t panic.... I’m also having IUI but my cycles are a lot shorter like 22 days usually. I think you should definitively speak to the doctor.....just to clarify.

Ps what are you panicking about exactly?

She probably just meant lining looks nice & ready for an embryo as think post ovulation/Pre period it should be a good thickness. So don’t think day 21 v day 25 would be much different x

Thank you for your responses, im panicking about what she said. She said your on day 21 (which i think i am on day 25) and she said the lining is 13mm this is what im worried about, if i am on day 25 and the lining is 13mm is this ok? Or is there something wrong. Im sorry im probably asking a stupid question its just because i dont want anything to go wrong now.

I think this sounds perfect, day 21 is usually how they refer to seven days before your period (as so many people have 28 day cycles). I bet your period will start on day 32 this month as you look around a week away from your period, which usually starts 14 days after ovulation.

I don’t think you need to worry at all but of course ask your clinic next time you speak to them x

Thank you so much Lizzie, i have a list of questions but when i get there i dont have the balls to ask any 😐 i get alot of support here which i am so greatful for ❤️ thank you once again.

Next week we have a appointment for my OH initial SA test wash results and if everything looks ok i will be going for 1 last test the HSG.

After this hopefully i would start first round of IUI so only a couple more months i think 🤔 😊

I ask so much they start trying to usher me out of the door! But I do like to be well informed and it is their job to inform me! I write down questions before I go in.

Not what you're looking for?
