Positive test, cramping and light bleeding

We had our official test date a week ago today and have been having positive test for two weeks, I'm still taking Progynova, cyclogest pessaries and lubion injections, I have a had cramping on and off today and now had bleeding (red blood)and I'm fearing the worse. Has anyone has experience of this? I will phone the hospital first thing tomorrow x

To be honest and you probably know this already it could go either way. I bled both times after a positive result and one ended in the worse case scenario and I’ve ended in the best case scenario. I would say from my experiences if bleeding is light and stops then you’ll be ok xx fingers are crossed for you xx

Hi, I’m in a very similar situation to you. My OTD was also a week ago and throughout I have had weird pains and have found spotting 3 times. The first two times pink and then a couple of days ago it was redder. I had a chemical pregnancy a couple of rounds ago so like you I’m scared that this a bad sign. However I’m trying to look on the bright side of things - it’s been going on for over 2 weeks and my hcg levels are still going up. Like you, I got 3+ on the digital (I got 2-3 on Sunday then 3+ yesterday). If you’re getting 3+ on your digital then that has to be a positive sign. I’m assuming you’re a similar stage to me (I’m 5+4 today) so your tests probably won’t have been showing 3+ for very long.

Like drinathan said, it could be something and it could be nothing. This time of waiting is so awful isn’t it? When is your scan? If you can’t wait until then then I would test again with a digital in a couple of days and see if it still says 3+. If it does then that’s a really good sign. I really hope that this is nothing for you and just an awful scare x

Thanks for your reply, yeh I'm at exactly the same stage as you 5+5. I've not received a scan date as yet, I will give the hospital a call today. Hopefully your hcg levels continue to increase! Wishing you lots of luck xxx

This happened to me and the bleeding got worse in the week running up to the 7 week scan. Sure enough there was a heartbeat on Monday... I’m at home resting from work this week; by consultant said it was a sure sign I was doing to much and rest would help. x

I am 9 weeks and have bleed every day since 6. It's the most anxious I have ever been I'm my life. I have had 4 scans and baby seems to be doing well but I have a subchronic haemorrage which is causing the bleeding. It seems to be moving towards my cervix and not affecting the baby. I was sure I had lost it but it seems to be a wee fighter ❤️❤️❤️ there is hope just have faith xx

Just an update, bleeding has more or less stopped more of a brown spotting now, went for bloods this morning, the nurse called this afternoon so say my hcg levels were high enough to have a scan so back in tomorrow morning x
