Recurrannt miscarriage appointment

Hi ladies,

So I have the above app on July 13th just wondered what they do if anything and what should I expect?

At first appointment I had bloods taken for clotting disorders, lupus etc, and a full history taken. then a follow up appointment where they discussed the bloods (nothing was found) and he referred me for a hysteroscopy which I had on Monday, also looked normal but they also took a biopsy. The only results left are the biopsy results and the karyotype results from the blood tests at the start as the karyotype takes 3 months. We will have a follow up in about 6 weeks to hopefully get the final results, and I think that’s the end of it. He suggested we could consider the nk test privately.

I don't know but just wanted to say good luck with your appointment. I hope you get answers & your able to have a successful pregnancy very soon. I've had 2 miscarriages & think they are one of the most cruel & heart-breaking experiences you can go through. I had tests carried out privately before our IVF where a possible cause was found & I am currently 14 weeks pregnant. Fingers crossed you get a happy ending too 😘 xx

Hello hun, thank you for your reply. Yes I second that-miscarriages are awful but I’m hoping there is light at the end of the tunnel.

I am so sorry to hear of your looses. It’s so heartbreaking isn’t it I had a miscarriage last year.

I haven’t been to a miscarriage clinic so I can’t comment on that front but I wanted to wish you the best with your appointment and hope you get some answers and can forward with a plan of action. 😊
