Today I got an email to say my 4 embryos have 4,5,6 and 7 cells respectively. This is day 3 and therefore they should have 8 to 10 cells. Has anyone else been in this situation and had a positive outcome. I don’t want to live in false hope and be hurt later. Has anyone else had a successful outcome with these odds

Hi Rainbwhope. Those are not bad numbers really. The smaller ones will catch up hopefully. Years ago we only did 4-8 cell transfers as we didn't have the expertise to grow them on any further. We still had many successes, so go with that thought. Thinking of you. Diane
Yeah I think your right and I and I am just letting the stress get to me. I need to remain calm and wait to see how the progress by Wednesday. Either way there is nothing I can do about this now. It’s out of my hands. This is always the worst part for me. I can deal with the injections and all the other stresses of IVF but this bit makes me crumble. DH and I are now going out to spend the day shopping and eating. Hopefully this will keep my mind occupied for a while. Thanks for your reply
Hi sweetheart, I had 3 embryos transferred back at 3 days. I had a 5 cell, a 7 cell & a 8 cell. I'm currently nearly 14 weeks pregnant. I think before starting IVF I was beliving I needed amazing 5 day blastocysts to be successful so was shocked that I got my BFP! Hopefully by Wednesday you will perfect little embryos for transfer. Good luck 😘 xx
