I think those are normal possible reactions to gonel-f but do tell your nurse in your next appointment. I was absolutely fine after EC physically but took a few days off regardless because of the emotional rollercoaster I've been through. Have found it very refreshing even though I'm not doing a fresh cycle. I would definitely recommend to take some time off if you were doing fresh, whether it's to get your head straight or rest your body xx

Hello Naz! I started yersterday as well but with fostimon. I am fine so far and on Monday I only have blood test not scan. So, good luck to us! Do you already know, more or less, when you will have your EC? Mine is scheduled for the 13th

Hi charming 81 ive got a scan on Monday and Wednesday. I was told ec can be anytime from 11th.

Hi Naz, just to let you that I think this is normal. I'm feeling bloated after 3 injections of gonal, will be taking my 4th tonight. I'm seeing it as a good sign - our follicles are growing! x

Hi Naz82. Well done! If you can after egg collection have a couple of days off and have a rest. Don't forget to drink plenty of water too. Keeping everything crossed for you. Diane

Hi, I started my injections yesterday as well so just wanted to wish you lots of luck. I took a few days off after egg collection before, its good to have some time to chill out if you can. Hope everything goes well for you xx

To second what Diane said, a day or 2 off work would be advisable. I had EC itself off and whilst it all went smoothly I did feel a bit groggy and sick when I got home. Nothing major but I wouldn't start going about your normal activities - I'd sleep it off if you can. I worked from home the next day but I still felt a bit tired and went for a 2 hour nap as soon as I shut my laptop down at 5pm! I did feel a lot better the day after that though and was back at work and fine. I've been bloated since starting mid-way through my cycle - blame all those lovely hormones! Good luck going forward xx
