Embryo Transfer Completed

We are on our way back home having completed our embryo transfer. Transferred one which just became a blastocyst this morning so we don’t know the quality of it and other one is being monitored to hopefully freeze if all is well tomorrow. Transfer was done in minutes, now fingers crossed for the 2ww. Nurse kindly told my husband that I can’t do any cooking or ironing lol so time to enjoy putting my feet up! 🍀🍀🍀

Hi. I’m good thanks. I got a BFP when I tested this week, so good news although I know it is still a long journey ahead. How are you doing?

That is good to hear! Happy to say I got my BFP too. It's Congratulations to us then! It was a little scary for a while. Out of 11 eggs collected, only 3 made it. We had only 1 transferred coz I'm a little scared of putting in more. Our other 2 embies are frozen back at Dunya.

I have my fingers crossed for you 🤞. I took some annual leave so it is nice to relax, but the wait isn’t that easy lol. Did you have a 3 day or 5 day transfer?

Thank you everyone for the good wishes, it’s much appreciated. We received a call from the embryologist this morning and they don’t think our other embryo will survive the freezing and thawing process. So fingers crossed that this is the one! 🍀🤞
