From clomid to letrozole

I have just done my first round of clomid and I ovulated but my day 21 blood wasn’t as high as they would of liked and my lining on day 12 so too thin. So I am being switched to letrozole next cycle. I haven’t heard much about it, any ideas of when to take it, side effects, success stories? X

Hi Ruby26. Another drug now being used to get your pituitary gland in the brain to talk to the other important one, the hypothalamus, in order to induce ovulation. I am hearing more and more success using this, so fingers crossed. Often just given for 5 days, but starting as your period finishes. Specialists have different ideas about when to give it, so yours will explain fully I'm sure. Good luck with it, and fingers crossed it does the job. Diane
