So I have got a letter from my fertility specialist today re concerns I have over spotting 6,10 and 12 days post ovulation.
He said some people think it is implantation bleeding but he doesn’t subscribe to that view.
He notes it could be my lining of uterus changing due to progesterone changes after ovulation and other possible causes of bleeding.
As long as my smears are update and normal nothing needs to be done for now.
Slightly deflated by his response but have more pressing health issues going on and hope to hear soon from my endo nurse ( she’s back in the office today) xoxo
I think our bodies baffle these specialists sometimes. He doesn't really seem to know what's going on. Hopefully it'll settle. Hope you get a better response from endo nurse.
Sorry to hear that you've not had much of an answer but at least they are listening to you and it creates a fuller picture for your team for your treatment going forward! Hope you get better info from the nurse.xx
The endo is a separate to the fertility issue although I’m sure it affects fertility. It was a bit vague don’t know what I expected really! 🙈 thank you.
Sometimes we just have a feeling Jess.....! Stick to your guns.
Well a wee bit better at my end - Ive just posted an update. After googling, I had an epiphany that my prolactin might be better if tested later in the morning and whoa and behold its normal! My own research paid off! Ive still got my TSH to be under 2 - last result was 2.51 and lab cocked up my last sample so still waiting on result for that. Seeing GP on Tuesday to hopefully discuss a small increase in levothyroxine....hoping he's on my side, he's been really good so far! Fingers crossed!xx
Thanks for posting Jess and sorry to hear you got such a woolly response. I have been spotting all over the place this month in fact still now. I just started taking dhea this month so could be that but I am contacting one of the gynaecologists I saw previously (thanks for the suggestion) so will let you know if I get any more info xx
