Did you get some time off after the transfer? Can I get it as sick days? Also, would it be ok to get progesterone medication if my progesterone is normal? I should be going through a natural cycle transfer and the doctor told me they will not give me any if my levels are fine but if i insist on taking it they will prescribe me some...Should I ask for the trigger injection for my ovulation? What do you think?
Had my base scan today, day 3 of my period and lining was 4.3mm. I hope that's good as I am still bleeding...

Hi Bubunoto. I am taking a week off sick after transfer (as you can self-certify for a week), but I know a lot of ladies on here ask their doctor to sign them off for the full two weeks' wait. I'm also taking a week off annual leave for my official test day as I will need time to collect myself whichever way the result is!
Apologies, I don't know on the natural transfer and taking progesterone if your clinic thinks you don't need it... hopefully someone will respond on that.
Oh! I don't know. I've always gone to my GP when I've needed signing off work, but maybe I should ask my clinic! Then, I wouldn't need to use so much holiday in the future!
Me and boss have an agreement- I am taking it all as sick days. I took some holidays but i told her i used it for the treatment and she told me to use sick days in the future which is extremely nice of her- she isn't that nice in general! So i guess i will speak to the clinic and see whats the best option.
I feel like i am overdoing it and I am a bit too extra tbh and i don't know if thats the best way to approach this whole situation!
I'm not starting this round until end of Feb. The wait is driving me crazy! This will be my fourth go. I would def take sick days if I was in your position. My workplace aren't very understanding and they're looking to make redundancies in the next couple of months so I'm trying to not get made redundant! Although will taking one extra week of sick leave make a difference on that? You are not being extra. This is super super important!
i cant wait either, so sick of waiting all the time! It never ends...
I think they already know who will be made redundant so taking a week off isn't gonna change that...hope u keep ur job! 🙏🏻
Hey bubu! I didn’t take any time off after transfer because my job allows me to work from home so I did that for 2 days until the weekend and was back in the office on Monday. Mine was a medicated FET, my cycles are not regular and so to be able to control the process more my doctor has decided to put me under meds. It helped me to be honest to keep my sanity and be sure that my body was supported. You can discuss that with your doctor.
Yes a thin lining at the beginning of your cycle is perfect! 😃💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻Keeping fingers crossed for you!
Hi Bubunto, for both my fresh and frozen cycle I was always prescribed with progesterone caps to insert. With fresh cycle you start inserting them after the transfer but with frozen cycle it was 4/5 days before the transfer. I was given my protocol before my transfers xx
Well my fresh cycle got cancelled as I had over stimulated. I am currently in my 2ww. I was made redundant just before hand. But intially I had planned to take atleast 10 days off, if not more as this was a new position, so wasn't sure they would give me 2 weeks off. I would say definitely take the 1st week off and see how you feel in the second week. Good luck xx
The first week I did, I had cramps and lower back pain similar to when I'm about to start my period, sore breast and bloatness. Last week saturday I was spotting all day with red blood and I cried all day thinking all hope was lost but my husband and family told me off. Said to keep a positive mind and wait until after the 2ww. So I've started to stay positive but this negative feeling does start sinking in. This week the cramping has eased slightly but I still have alot of bloatness and my breast are sore but not as severe as when I'm about to start. I'm really nervous about Wednesday xx🙏🙏
It was probably the implantation! I am sure your period would have started by now if that was the case. I wish you all the luck in the world! 2 lines on Wed, that's my wish for you
