Still no AF...

I’m still waiting for it to arrive. I took a pregnancy test about a week ago which was negative. I’ve got no feelings of anything and I’m just annoyed because they were going to some sort of cycle before my laparoscopy. The only thing that’s changed is I’ve been going to the gym, but only once a week?

Still waiting for my follow up appointment too!

Fed up completely 🤦🏻‍♀️

Xxx

The waiting for AF is so difficult. You’ll have had a lot of drugs in your body. So don’t forget they’ll take time to work their way out. hang in there x

Thank you for your reply babe, hope you’re okay.

I would have thought my pill would have worked it’s way out of my body by now though as I’ve not been taking it for 2 years. I just don’t know what’s going on in there and why it’s so difficult 🤦🏻‍♀️ just hard isn’t it x x

Ah. Just looked back over your story. Sorry I mis-understood. Yes your right. It never comes when we want it to! Perhaps hang in there until mid-week and give them a call? x

It doesn’t babe.

Yeah, I’ve emailed to see when my follow up will be but because I’m not actually at a clinic as we aren’t having ivf yet I’m just under the consultant at hospital so I only see someone as and when. I feel better when I’m seeing someone or doing something. I hate waiting around xxx

Well; I can offer you some advice which was the only way I ever got to be put under an actual clinic. I’m not saying you should have the mother of all strips (mother is probably not the best word here!) but I was in a random clinic at a hospital for 4-5 years. Nothing was happening. My period would just not let up. I was getting no where. They felt I was better and should just wait for next cycle and try again. I went to my drs and said I couldn’t carry on to put me on the pill because if no one would help me I wouldn’t have children at all. I was under a consultant within 4 weeks and diagnosed within 8. I knew something wasn’t right. I know it’s not the same as you... but my advice is to persevere. Be strong xx

If this whole process has taught me anything it’s that bodies are weird and no 2 people are the same. It’s so frustrating isn’t it because you feel like you’re against the clock and constantly waiting for the ‘next step’ to help you keep going.

I am the same age as you but haven’t been trying as long, I found drs don’t want to know or look into why we are’nt conceiving until we have been trying for 18months. So frustrating. Wishing you lots of luck xx

Thank you babe.

It’s horrible and at times.. I feel so alone. Everyone says to think positively which isn’t always possible.

I know, I was lucky when I went to my Dr I had only been trying for a year but I had a thyroid issue also so that’s why I got referred quicker.

My periods are a nightmare and I never really know what I’m supposed to be looking out for. I still feel new to it all although equally I feel like I’ve been trying forever.

Wishing you loads of luck too xxx

I know the wait is so annoying. There could be the serval possible reason for the late periods. Stree is one of the factors which influence menstruation. It affects your hormones, and delay your ovulation as well as periods. It affects your overall health, not only fertility. It is better to stay away from it. Try relaxation techniques. Yoga and moderate exercise are necessary. PCOS, could be another factor affecting your hormones thus delaying your periods. early-menopause, thyroid issues, and others. Have you seen an ER? I think the drugs have affected your cycles. It is advised that if you have 2 missed period it is time to see the doctor, as it is uncommon. If you are TTC then you must consult with a good fertility doctor. And if natural conception isn't working then you can try IVF.
