First (ever) IVF injection.. AF/ cycle day one question xxx

Happy weekend everyone!

So clearly my body is wanting to get cracking with my first round of IVF, as AF has just started nearly two days early!!

This has caught me abit off guard as it’s so late in the evening... do I class this as my CD1 - even if it’s 11.30pm, and therefore do my first injection tomorrow evening?? Completely forgot to ask the nurse... couldn’t just be a straightforward morning start could it, oh no!

Hey hun. Well here in New Zealand they count day 1 as full on af bleeding before noon. Then day 2 in the evening you start injections. So if you started just before midnight I would count the morning as day 1. Not sure how it is in the UK but I hope that helps. Good luck! Xxx

Morning! Thanks everyone for your advice - really helpful. Will class today (Saturday) as cycle day 1 rather than yesterday in that case, given as it was so late it kicked in! First injection on Sunday it is then!! ARRGHHHHH!!
