OHSS

Hi Eveyone, just came back for the hospital with moderate OHSS. I had my EC on the 27 April and my ET on the 30 April. We had just two embryos and we decided to put back on day 3. I took the first week off and I was ok a bit bloated but not on pain. Last Monday in the night I start to feel really bloated and a sharp pain on the lower belly. I though was the implantion symptoms. Yesterday was the first day back to work and start with nausea, bloated, cramps and I couldn’t walk! I left early and spend the evening in bed drink water and find the right position. This morning I have tried to go to work but I couldn’t walk or stand so I went to the A&E and they admitted me with moderate to severe OHSS! They give paracetamol and injections to avoid blood’s clots, alla agreed with my consultant. Of course the pregnancy test come back negative and my level of hgc it really low at moment. I know it is early coz they are 9 day after transfer my I am really down. I need to do my pregnancy’s rest next Monday 14th May! Anyone give Hope!

Hi Chlara12. Sorry to hear this, but you must keep up the water intake to hopefully rid you of the OHSS. Rest when you can and take paracetamol for pain relief, unless something else has been precribed. Hope you soon feel better and i shall keep my fingers crossed. Diane
