Central/South Manchester support group, or anyone fancy a few of us just getting together?? :-)

Ok, so I’m getting a bit fed up of the lack of empathy from people I thought were close friends in relation to the very real and often devastating impact infertility can have on our lives... I just really want some people I can chat to now and then over a cuppa or (when we’re not mid-treatment) a glass of wine, about the trials and tribulations of IVF, infertility, miscarriage and how it’s affecting our day to day lives. Maybe share a chuckle with others who “get it,” and just feel a bit less alone on this whole ruddy journey. Does anyone know of any friendly support meetings in central Manchester..? I know there’s something in knutsford on Monday nights but that’s a bit difficult for me, hoping for something more central if possible. I’ve also contacted St Mary’s, where I had my first NHS cycle in 2015, but not sure if they’d still accept me on their patient support group now? I’d be up for just arranging a lunch, coffee, drink, in Manchester, with anyone who fancies it one weekend or mid-week night. Be nice to be able to chat/socialise without worrying about insensitive comments, lack of understanding, having to talk about other people’s babies... Any advice/thoughts much appreciated 😊🤗🌈 xx

Thanks for your help Diane I was keeping my fingers crossed for a peer-led group in central manchester but have had a look and can only see the fertility clinic-based group in knutsford but this would still be appreciated and useful, so I will see if I’m able to get there.
