Hi, so after two miscarriages following FETs the consultant said it may be worth looking into this test. I don’t know much about it but was told you have to travel to Coventry to have it done. Has anyone had this test? What does it involve? Thanks!

NK killer cells test Coventry
Hi Hun, I had many tests carried out after 2 miscarriages including a test for NK Cells. It was just a blood test xx
That’s interesting I didn’t realise that a blood test could be done. Did your clinic do that for you? Thanks !
The Coventry one is an internal test, if you google it you’ll find all the details or I think @sprinkles86 may have had it done and written about it on here... someone certainly did and I think it was her...
Hi Gem, I’m so sorry for your losses. I’ve been to Coventry for the nk cells test after my third miscarriage. They do a womb biopsy then test the level of nk cells present. Though at appears that these levels fluctuate over different cycles.
If you are found to have elevated levels they will most likely put you on medication for future pregnancy attempts.
I don’t think I’m allowed to mention consultants names on here but if you would like to pm me, I can give you their names and you can check out some of their published research if you want to? X
Hi Gem I have had 12 vials of blood tests done in my clinic. Came back my NK cells slightly high. On steroids. Lots of people rave about Intralipid infusions. It’s such a mine field. I will message through a list of tests. In UK they are costly my lit £1600!! Xx
