When will my period come?

Had BFN on Friday. Stopped taking progesterone pessaries and oestrogen tablets on Friday. Still no sign of my period, when did others start bleeding after negative test? Feel like this is stopping me from moving on from this devastating cycle and making me anxious. Waiting for phone call from consultant but won’t be till much later this pm. Anyone experienced this? I just want to get it over with.

Hi Em, I was around a week after stopping progesterone on my last cycle but it can vary from person to person unfortunately. I completely understand the want to get it over with. Sending hugs.xx

Thanks, feels like I can’t move past this until it’s all over properly. Thanks for that, couldn’t really find anything online about how long it takes. Hope you are ok, have you started the treatment in Athens yet?

You're welcome! Im waiting to start an FET soon hopefully. Got some blood result hurdles to get over first.....fingers crossed for my results this week so I can get the go ahead to start again!xx

Hi Em2405. Usually around 5-7 days after using the last does of progesterone. Hopefully not too long to wait now, so you can move on. Good luck! Diane

Hi. I feel your pain. We had BFN on Monday and my period started on Saturday. It just takes time for the hormone levels to come down.

Thanks hon. Yes it does suck and we have been through it so many times you think you would kind of get used to it!!!
