Sooooooo relived ....i had my first scan yesterday and we have 12 follicles the nurse said they need to get a little bit bigger but hopefully by mondays scan they will of caught up, 12 though i wasn’t expecting no we’re near as many ... no wonder ive felt like a balloon 🎈... Hope everyone is well ❤️.. im currently sat in the garden in the sun ☀️ drinking a lime and lemo thinking holy cow i cant belive im on day 8 of injections already 1 follicle scan out of the way and maby next week it could be egg collection 🍀🙏🏻🤞🏻🥚❤️....

It’s funny you try for years, then wait for ivf and it all moves quite quickly once you start. It’s a rollercoaster and a half isn’t it. Good luck and snap, I’m drinking a soda and lime in the garden also 😂x

That’s great news! I’ve been told I need a short protocol and have my consent appt next week. Would appreciate you telling me how long from start to finish (I know you’re awaiting EC day at the mo) a short protocol is expected to take? How many weeks of injections for example? Thank you hope you’re well!

Hiya tynemouth_mrs i had my consent and screening last month around the 11th march then after that I waited for my period in april to arrive when it did around the 9th i had to book in with the clinic between days 2-4 of my cycle for injection teach, i went on day 3 of my cycle and she gave me my first injection there and then, so far im on day 8 of injections i had a stimulating injection from the begining and after day 6 of injections another injection was introduced, the short cycle isnt as long i belive im due another follicle scan on monday this will determine if i need anymore injections i suppose so fingers crossed 🤞🏻. That really does help, thank you so much! I am due on my period only 2 days after my consent appointment and the clinic told me there is no waiting list but what do you think the chances are of being able to start only a few days after the consent appointment? I am of the mind that they would want me to wait for the second period after the consent appointment? Xxxx

Ahhhhh glad to have helped .. ❤️ i think it does really vary on clinic i speak to a lady on here and she could start straight away as her period was the same ... i was already 4 days into mine on my consent appointment so maby thats why i had to wait till the month after ... after that appointment though and the first appointment it feels like full steam ahead its like theres something happening every day my clinic works on a Monday Wednesday friday basis so its super fast..... this monday for me hopefully my last follicle scan then hopefully wednesday egg collection 🥚🤞🏻..... i wish you lots and lots of luck with everything keep me updated xx 😘

I’m fine thank you! Have just done my trigger shot ready for collection on Monday. I can’t believe it’s been nearly 2 weeks of injections already it’s actually flown by! (thankfully). Xx
