So we had our 12 week scan today (well Im actually 12+2) & everything was looking fab! Very active baby and all measuring as it should. I wanted to share to those of you struggling or starting your journey to never give up hope! Some of you ladies know my story but a lot don't. To keep it short & simple I was diagnosed last year at 27 yrs old with a rare form of cancer. I have to have extensive surgery which will include the removal of a number of organs including uterus & ovaries. I made the choice to hold off on surgery in the hope we could concieve & although a hard choice to make (in fact the hardest ever) after today Im so glad I did! I will still need this surgery as soon as they can do it but I will have now not only my life to fight for but the life of our baby too- keep on believing it will happen!! X

I have an embryo frozen but if we don't get chance to use it before surgery I would need a surrogate so we have decided that if we only have this one then that's more than ok with us both x
Wow what an amazing strong woman you are !! I wish you all the best with the baby and your treatment 🤞🏼 here's to a happy healthy pregnancy ❤️ congratulations !! Xxxx
Hi Laura3101. You know we've all got our arms around you hanging on too. Your little one's scan looks perfect to me, and wonderful to see. Thinking of you. Diane
