Cetrotide how long will i be taking this.

Hi everyone. I've been taking injections and the cetrotide ones started last night. I hate them ready. I'm on short protocol. Right ovaries show lots of follicles. What size so they need to be before ER? My left ovary is due to be removed and only has 2 follicles.. how long will i be taking cetrotide for? Any advice would be great. I've done it before, bad a miscarriage on first attempt and BFN on frozen transfer. It's been a long time since though. Thanks for reading xxx

Hi Hun, sorry I don’t have any answers for you. I started cetrotide yesterday too, and at my acupuncture appointment today she told me that probably egg collection will be next week (I’ve only been given 8 cetrotide injections!)

Hi I started my cetrotide on a Wednesday had took it until the Monday evening where I also did trigger shot and collection was then the wed if that helps x

Hi Leah, you need to take them until the day of your egg collection. I think the majority of the follicles need to be around the 18mm mark for egg collection to happen. Good luck and hope it's EC day soon for you xxx

Thanks ladies. They originally said EC would be Wed so that was day 10 of cycle but now it's either Friday or following Monday so that will be day 14. Some of my follicles are at 12mm and a few under 10. I'm hoping to get eggs out soon because of how uncomfortable I am when taking the eggs out. Does anyone take these injections for around 10 days? I thought it was more 5 days xxxx
