Injection time ....

So as the title says we are now officially injecting 🙈💉 first injection given by the nurse at our clinic the rest is down to us.... Cocktail of emotions atm as were excited to be feeling like were starting but were also a tad worried we do something wrong (wich i suppose is normal) ill be on meriofert 150 iu for around 10 days garnirelix to be started aswell as meriofert from day 6 of cycle wich will be wed first scan booked for 20th april ... its all happening so so fast .... been told today all been well then hopefully egg collection will be around the 25th april eeeeeeekkkkk ..... wishing all those werever they are in there IVF journey lots of luck 🤗 xxx

I had been not too bad but had a tough couple of days 😩 think I need to take some time off work and focus on myself but tomorrow is a new day 😉

Yes dont let work get in the way of you and your partner and what your going through stacey 😊work will always be there u need time to relax me and my partner have been out for tea tonight and weve had a chat about this its hard work tryna juggle things about ive been lucky so far as appointments have landed on my days off and ive kinda winged it but this time im gonna need at least 2 weeks off work 🙈 were so used to putting people first in our job roles i think its hard to focus on ourselves 😓.... wishing you lots of luck keep me posted also ❤️ x

I’ve been very lucky that my boss has been supportive and has let me go in work around my appointments so far but she leaves for maternity leave next week so am worried the man coming in to replace her won’t be so understanding 😩 I am going to either go to the doctors and get a sick note or take a few weeks off unpaid.

You are right tho it’s important to make time for yourself and time with your partner.

I think thats the best idea with sick leave thats what im planning on doing ... i didnt want to use all my holidays as i think just incase this doesnt work im gonna need my holidays the most also if it does then theres extra time off to rest if needed ... yes keep intouch stacey i too will keep a peek see how ur doing ❤️ xx

Yes let me know how u get on ... will the clinic not give you a note ive asked if they can at my unit and would theyvbe able to put stress and medical procedures on it and they said they would ☺️ they were really supportive about work .. i to at first was going to go to my gp but now ill just use the clinic instead ... they said the note will cover me from EC up untill just after test day xx worth a try stacey ide ask ur clinic xx 😘

I started gonalF on Tuesday. So far I’ve found that one not too bad but I think it’s because it’s a prefilled pen. I start the cetrorelix tomorrow and I’m more nervous about that because u have to make it up! So far I’ve been quite lucky as I’ve had no side effects but thinking it’s early days!! All the best for doing yours, the first time yourself is the worst once that ones past it gets easier! Xx

Oh did you thats fab news 😊mine are like that were u have to make them up then day 6 its a prefilled needle (were back to front)... ill be doing it tomorrow after work 🙃 its good that uve had no side affects as of yet hopefully you will breeze through this .. i hope i do ... my legs still stinging from 3.30 today 😂... wishing you lots of luck marietay and keep intouch its nice having peole to chat to that can relate ❤️ Xx
