Hcg and progesterone results

Hi everyone,

I wanted to know your thoughts on my hcg and progesterone results. On 11dpt5dt it was 589 and 48 hours later (today) 1321. My progesterone on day of transfer was 90 and today is 82.

Is the hcg levels ok? And I’m wondering why my progesterone dropped? Should that be doubling as well?

I don’t what the reference numbers are but wanted to congratulate you on your pregnancy; to me looks promising that HCG numbers have increased 😘 Could you call the clinic and ask? I’m sure everything is fine but might reassure you which you need. Becoming pregnant after fighting infertility is emotionally challenging txoxo

Thanks Jess, I’ve sent them over to the clinic as I did my treatment in Athens. However, with the time difference I don’t think I will hear back from them until tomorrow. I’m just be impatient and anxious. I know the doubling up is good just wasn’t sure if the numbers were good and the drop in my progesterone not sure if that was to double?

I wouldn’t like to say; but I think the HCG looks very promising 💕 they might increase your progesterone pessaries 😘 it’s not impatience hun; it means the world to you and I think any of us here could understand that. The early weeks are worrying for any new mum to be; let alone anyone in our situation; the feelings you’re experiencing are normal. I’m the same with results and things so I can really identify; it’s not nice waiting I think that’s what causes us to stress out from the clinic. Hope you hear soon xoxo

Can’t comment on the Progesterone but the hcg is fantastic!!! The clinic should assess your results and if you need more they can up your progesterone. I was on 1 Cyclogest and started bleeding 5 days post transfer so they upped it to 2 a day and it’s gone. My hcg was 1015 when your was 1321 and my Consultant said that’s excellent and yours is even better my Progesterone was 193xxx

Your hcg has doubled in 48 hours and that is what it needs to do. No idea about progesterone but surely your clinic would tell you if there was a problem.

I’ve just had my results back, I’m 13 days past 5day transfer and the hcg level is 651. Not sure if I need to do another one or not, I have to pay privately so not sure if it’s worth doing or not 😬 Yours look amazing so try not to worry, although I know that’s easier said than done xx

I think the numbers can vary and I’ve had two embryos in so maybe they’ve both implanted? I think you just want to make sure they’ve doubled within 48 hrs so might be worth it for peace of mind?

I had 3 transferred lol, I think I’ll have another test done as otherwise I’m gonna just keep thinking about it, and the scan is a long way off lol xx
