Medicated FET

Hi ladies! Looking for a bit of advice and reassurance because AF has finally arrived (after driving me mad thinking my lining was none existant again 🙈)! We are doing a medicated FET this cycle so today is day 1. My clinic is closed today so I’m worried about timings now as the earliest I can contact someone is Monday day 3 of cycle. The plan is to build up lining on Progynova but it’s so typical AF has arrived at the weekend! Is day 3 still okay to be starting FET planning/meds for current cycle?? :/

Did your clinic not advise which day to start progynova? On a medicated cycle with mine I had to start them from day 1 of my period as I think this then stops your ovaries working so you will not ovulate. However, after me doing the for several cycles and my lining just not thickening I swooped to a more natural cycle where progynova was taken later in the cycle so allowed my body to ovulate. It will all depend on the plan your clinic has in place for you as all clinics seem to work differently. But mine would class a medicated cycle from day 1 xx

My clinic told me to start progynova on day 1 as well. Mine came on the weekend too so I just started taking it on the first full day of my bleed as instructed and called them on the Monday to tell them when it started.

Managed to speak to my consultant, he said to go in for a scan on Monday and then they’ll decide what day to start tablets. He said it can be between days 1-5 depending on what scan shows xx
