Hi, I'm new to all this but hopefully someone can give me a bit of hope. My partner was diagnosed with low sperm count but I wanted to know of anyone has this same issue and still conceived naturally? His count was 16 mil then went to 8 mil. We have been trying for 7 months now. Thanks guys

Low count....has anyone conceived naturally??
Hi. I think that isn't very good news. However, that is treatable. Have you went to a doctor yet? They would give some medication to increase his sperm count. If that doesn't work, then there's a minor surgery for it. Don't worry, there's a good chance it'll work. Also, tell your husband to avoid too spicy foods.
Hi, I had low count, morphology and mobility, yep rubbish across the board. So bad in fact the doctor asked me whether I had been exposed to dangerous levels of radiation in the past. 1 in a billion chance we were told it would happen naturally. But it did.
Male sperm is regenerated every 3 months so there is more chances of making a difference to it. I tried everything to improve my fertility. Herbs, acupuncture, lifestyle, not putting mobile in my pocket, baggy pants!! However after 4 months of that my test results got slightly worse!
I then went on a bit of an emotional journey. The highlights are that I let go of my fear of us not having a baby. I stopped running from my emotions. I took control of my life more instead of being a people pleaser and a victim.
We then conceived naturally. We weren't even trying as we were told there was no point and we were waiting for ICSI. I was intrigued and my test results had improved dramatically - without me even trying to change them.
Looking back I believe I fell in to a more healthy psychological state and thus my body fell in to a more healthy physical state. My pent up emotions was I guess making me feel stuck and trapped inside, physically as well as emotionally. Life began to feel like it was flowing again even before we got pregnant.
I hope this helps in some way.
I have heard of some stories of couple conceiving naturally with a lower sperm count than normal. As you know counts can vary from time to time so athough you've had a lower one second time around then it may go back up again unless there is an underlying reason of course. We are in a similar boat that we still try in between treatments and my hubby's sperm count is less than 1 million per ml (and unlikely to improve due to a childhood injury) so we're in a pretty bad situation but we still try. My point is, you never know what might happen..... there is always those stories of hope and you never know if you might be one of the lucky ones! Best of luck!xx
Meant to add get hubby to keep things cool downstairs, biking is not meant to be great, stopping smoking, eating healthier, cut back on alcohol and no warm baths either are all things to focus on.xx
A friend of mine conceived with ivf the first time and then naturally the second time so it is possible. Very best of luck xxx
