Confused????

Hope you’re all having a good Easter weekend!

I need help - I know I have no choice but to just keep waiting but i am now 4 days late for my period but I did a test this morning (it was a cheap one I got free when I bought my thermometer but I figured they still search for the same hormone) and it was negative.

I’ve never had a late period before, I always have a 24/25 day cycle & even before that I’ll have spotting so this is really unusual for me?!!

I have been having slight cramps for about a week now & sometimes when I wipe there’s the tiniest hint of pink or brown spotting if I really study the tissue but most of the time it’s nothing.

I have been having my usual headache which has kept me thinking Period is definitely on its way but weirdly I didn’t have sore boobs at all this month & usually I have a week where theyre so painful even moving my arms against them hurts, it’s just as if my body has kind of forgotten how to have a period?!!

I can’t believe I’ve been waiting nearly 3 years for my period to be late & now it is I just want it to hurry up & come so I can get it over with!!! Unless of course I am pregnant which as it’s my boyfriends birthday tomorrow I’d love to be able to give him a positive test in the morning!!

Any ideas would be greatly received!

If I had £1 for every time I’d seen a post (or written one through ivf) which said: why is my period late when it never usually is! I think I’d be mega rich! It does happen. Your body’s way of still having a bit of control I think! Ha!

If you’re really not trusting of that test and there’s a chance you could be then you could try another test; it might put your mind at ease? xx

Haha I know!! It’s so annoying though! I never even get to the stage of taking a test normally!

I guess I’ll just have to wait it out & see! I have got a first response test in the draw which if nothing has come by tomorrow morning I’ll do just incase as it’s his birthday but after that I’m just going to wait & see what happens! X
