Heyx I wondered if anyone had any advice on ovarian drilling ? I’ve recently been looking in to it Thanks x

Hi, I had a lap before any treatment which included ovarian drilling. My consultant thought it would help and of course Il never know whether it has or not but i was quite uncomfortable for a week or more after the lap xx

Hi E_05 , Thank you for your reply . I have been looking in to it recently I’m planning on going back to my GP to hopefully discuss this , or any other options I know I have too get my weight/BMI down which I am trying by eating better and exercising .

Hi,

I had lap and dye and ovarian drilling before any IVF treatment. My consultant had hoped it might kick start my ovulation (I have severe PCOS and never ovulate) but unfortunately it didn’t work for me. He was surprised though and said it does work for lots of people and can be all that is needed.

I was a bit sore for a week or so but it really wasn’t too bad.

Hi Spongy , thank you for your reply , I never ovulate either , I bleed every so often lasting more than a month sometimes it can be frustrating.

I have an appointment with my GP on the 17th too see what my options to move forward with my pcos , I know my weight is going too be an issue but I am going too my gym 3 Times a week changed my eating lifestyle for the better. Xx
