Hi all,
Have got our first consultation about ivf tomorrow. We have filled in consent forms and had all our bloods done so just wondering what tomorrow will consist of? Anyone advise?
Thanks! Xx

Hey Rach,
I've had two appts at my clinic now. The first was to get another two blood tests done, because they couldn't take the ones from NHS for some reason? Maybe too old? Anyway, so that was literally just blood tests, and they gave us a bunch of paperwork to fill out.
The second appt we handed in all our paperwork, and got the results of my husband's sperm test (which he did in between appts 1 and 2), and we actually spoke for the first time with our doctor, and the nurse.
It was pretty much a discussion to ensure all the paperwork was correct and fill in any questions that they had, and also to discuss what the next appointment would be So the NEXT appointment is the 'implications' appointment, and that's the one that goes for 2-3 hours and is where they show you how to use the meds and give you a detailed plan and all of that. Can't tell you how that goes, as mine is booked in for May 3
I think everything before the implications appt is really just appts to make more appointments, or at least, that has been my experience! hahaa Good luck to you! xxx
Hi lovely, we are with Bath fertility clinic and they are amazing! They also offer finance packages? Good luck with whatever you decide! xx
Rachwithers hi, I know it’s over a year you posted this . Can I ask you a question please , how did it go with Bart? I am with Bart and had our first appt and it was to submit the forms and we were approved for funding as I saw it stamped . I had an ultrasound scan nd saw the consultant who did not give much information . We are booked for July and my husband was also asked to go for a scan next week . My question is do u think our next appt is when we start? How did yours go ? . We know the issue of infertility and we have all bloods done . I am really confused as it seems I did not get enough information on our first appt , d consultant was new n it was his first day working there.
